These particular ones have sold, but I have another lot just like these, with slight variations of course, as all shells are each unique! I will try to get new images up if I’m able Ty
Each one was had picked from the shores of my beach over many years of hunting. These aren’t easily found ESPECIALLY on shore, so it’s taken many years to accumulate just a handful!
These are much more impressive than the images show, the scientists believe the animals Shell has the large “rolls” to help protect from hungry gastropods wishing to drill through for a snack. Sadly it’s not always affective.
Ea Shell has been cleaned & I painstakingly removed all trapped sand from in between their rolls. They have a natural gloss a kin to cowries tho not as glassy! You can keep them sparkling by using mineral oil as needed too!
The Imperial Venus Shells were misidentified yrs ago in Pawley Island SC u may have seen Pawley Island Shells
