This is a pendant that I made out of two pieces, one was an actual buckle that was broken and the other was a end piece to a leather strap that went through a loop and another buckle to tighten it down. I do not know the culture except for the one on top tied to the black rope definitely is either late Celtic or early Viking / Scandinavian. The bit on the back is a stabilizer I use because the first one was and such bad shape you could touch it and it would fold in half on you so that had to stop real fast. So it would splint and some super Stout epoxy and there's your fix. You could literally probably run over it with a car and it's still probably wouldn't break. Although I would not try it. I think this patchwork of artwork turned out to be an incredible pendant in freeform artwork of my own making. It is definitely one of a kind. Then itself doesn't necessarily make it special but it definitely does make it beautiful, as always it makes it beautiful to me.
