Both strips are in good condition and still fully functional.
Great for Halloween décor, outdoor festive lighting — but also versatile enough for year-round indoor or outdoor ambience.
The strips are smart, color-capable, and integrate with the Bridge for full app/voice control.
These are weather-rated for outdoor use, so they’ll handle porch, deck, patio lighting and more.
Note: Each strip has a small section where the color output is slightly less perfect (a minor imperfection). However — when you hide the physical rope (so only the light is visible) the imperfection isn’t noticeable in normal usage.
Also note: One of the power adapters (for one of the strips) emits a faint whine when the brightness is turned up. It does not affect functionality, but worth knowing.
With the Bridge included, this whole setup originally would have cost well over $600 new (given current list prices for 16 ft outdoor Hue strips plus the Bridge).
