Vintage 1960s train lantern-shaped decanter. It is a faux lantern as it does not have a light inside. It plays music from the base, but I'm not sure of the song. The brass-colored metal patina has some tarnish, corrosion, and wear, but that gives it a very nice antique look. It is most likely made in 1960s Japan. The splash guard (bottle stopper) is missing. The decanter inside is amber-colored. I found that if you do not like the "bar" word showing, you can turn the bottle around to not see the word.
The music box plays well. It is easily wound. When you lift the lantern, the music plays; when you place it on a hard surface, the music stops. Also, you can press the button on the bottom to stop the music when the lantern is lifted.
Approximate measurements: 5" L, x 4.75" W, x 11" H, and 12.75" with handle. Weighs 2 pounds, 5 oz.
